hello I am new to owning a diesel. I am in the process of buyin a1995 2500 4x4 ext cab. It has 6 lug wheels. Is this the norm?? I want to put 18s on it. Is there anything diff in spacing from the 1500 trucks? Also with going to 18s and being a 2500 do I have to go to a heavier sidewallply. The travel trailer I will be towing is only 4000pds. Thx for your answers in advance. Also will the H2 rims that everyone is talking about fit.

Yep some of the light duty 2500 had 6 lug wheels like my truck 97 1500 6.5TD its 6 lug but its got heaver springs and 1.5" taller then the gas 1500
Yep you can run the H2 rims or get some 18s with the 6x5-1/2" bolt patten
just look at the tires max load rating x4 to see if you can run them:D
