turn up injection pump?

i think i need to turn my IP up a bit. when it is worm it has a noticeable amount of blue smoke, i can see it even cruising down the road at 30 or 40 mph. if i really lay the hammer down it fades from blue to a light bluish black. i know that none of the injectors are leaking and my glow plugs are all working fine if that adds any help. if i need to turn the pump up is it easy to do,since i have no garage and it's pretty cold out.

More fuel = more black smoke. Yours sounds optimal. And, according to your post in the MPG thread, I wouldn't touch a thing!
