Hello, I have an 01 LB7 with a problem I am trying to figure out. On cold mornings the truck will start and run for about 10 - 15 seconds then shut off. If we pump the priming button on top of the fuel filter till it gets tight it will start right up and keep running. This has been happening in the past on occasions, but now it is getting worse. Any suggestions where to start

Check to make sure the rubber 'O' ring was replaced when the last filter change was done. How long since a new fuel filter was installed?
Also, sometimes the fuel filter assembly will crack or become porous, and not hold a prime due to the air leak. Check the entire fuel system for leaks, and replace your fuel tank cap.
