i checked my oil this morning and saw that under cyl. # 1 glow plug there was a spot of melted plastic under it on the top of the frame rail, and a piece of melted plastic on the glow plug also. i know the plugs were changed last summer and i never cycle them for more than 7 or seconds, so how is this possible. the truck still starts pretty easy like it always does. i'm just concerned that i need new glow plugs now, and insted of changing the one, i will make sure i get the ac60g's. and to add to all this, i have installed manual glow controller and have done it by the diagrams that some of you have supplied.
