Hi ,
I'm new here. I have a '94 2500 with a 6.5 turbo. My problem is a leaky injector. It leaks from the nut that attaches the fuel line. I tightened it some and slowed the leak but didn't stop it . How much can I tighten it with out breaking it?
Thanks

Welcome to the "Page"!

Loosen the nut, then slide the nut up further on the fuel line so you can see the flange of the line and the end of the injector.

Position the line so it is perfectly inline with the injector, then slide the nut back down and tightened onto the injector while holding the line in place.

These lines can sometimes get bent a little, which puts the flanges out of line, and can make it harder to seal properly. Nut torque is 15-24 ft/lbs.

Thanks Jim for the torque spec. I think I've got it fixed.
Another question, who has the best manual for the 6.5L?
