'01 Heated Mirrors

I have a '02 2500 HD and I don't think the heated mirrors have ever worked. The rear window defrost works fine. Anything I can check or troubleshoot?

the only thing you can check is to pull the access panel off on the door mirror panel. pull the plug out and check with test light on the orange wire to ground with the rear defrost button on, you should have 12v on test light..... if you do it's in the mirror. possibly bad connection on back of mirror.... otherwise it's in the harness between the relay assembly, and the connector for the mirror.....
