Auxiliary fuel pump

I am installing an auxiliary fuel pump and have read you could use an oil pressure switch to cut off the fuel pump in case of an accident. Is there another location I can put another switch? And if so what switch should I use? Or can I just wire it through my existing switch? I am also installing a manual switch on the dash, would you leave it on all the time (switched through ignition of course)?
