snowplow option

I have a 1998 k2500 gmc. Can anyone tell what is done to these trucks to give them the snowplow prep option code

Since no one else has given any input on this I thought I'd tell you what I know about this option. On my 02 HD the snow plow prep pkg included stiffer front torsion bars, bigger alternator, and larger capacity air box. I would assume that the 89 probably had something along those lines as well. At a minimum it would have stiffer front torsion bars.
