I moved the FSD into the front of the air flow being drawn into radiator, trans/oil coolers and AC cond. Before this while at speed airflow worked good to keep FSD cool, as speed slows like in traffic and stop and go the FSD temps climb.
Checked mine by switching between the 2 w/coolers mounted (1) leading edge of wheel well, and (2) leading lower edge of bumper (pass side) the cooling plate/fins can get rather warm "closer to hot" to the touch.
Now the FSD rarely gets luke warm being in the airflow created by engine fan/clutch assembly at slow speeds, sitting at idle I use PTO switch setup.
