my old van just blew, any idea what went??

oil all over the back of van, oil leaking out of front center of motor
i don't see any water in the mix though
any idea what went??

Did it stop running when oil went everywhere?

apparently it now loses oil out of the front or oil pan while you try to fill it.
i believe it ran after it went but possibly seized while they were investigating the leak

anybody need a chevy 3.0 beater van with a rebuilt 3spd tranny and decent running gear... cheap
