Factory Boost Pressure????

My brother and I both have 2004 GMC 2500HD D/A trucks. He has an LLY and I have an LB7. We were wondering what the factory boost pressure was set at. Also, with most tuners what does boost pressure rise to?

Normal stock boost pressures could range from 18 to 21 or a little more PSI, depending on what air filter you're using and if there's a performance program/module. The LB7 is controlled by a mechanical wastegate actuator, so it'll remain within that PSI window regardless whatever else you might do to the truck. The LLY boost pressures can be altered through programming somewhat. Kennedy would be a good one to ask about the LLY.
