Oil filter adapter- 35 OR 36 MM?

Hello friends-
I am getting ready to replace the oil cooler lines and orings under the oil filter adapter (1995 Chevy 6.5) and have been doing some archive reading on the subject. I have read in older posts people stating the oil filter adapter bolt is 35MM and other posts call it 36MM. Does anybody know for sure what it is? I wanna get my ducks in a row for this weekend and try to tackle the job. Thank you!

It is 36 mm, But you can use a 1,7/16 " too that comes close, grind the bottom of the socket back to get a solid grip on the shallow bolt head. They are fairly tight.

Careful! The torque for that (hollow) bolt is not that high. I posted it a while back, but don't have the reference any more. IIRC it was around 40 ft-lbs, but verify!
