Help With Barn Door Rear Window Defroster.

I had the exact same problem last winter. Turned out it was one of the "pins" - it had gotten stuck in the "pushed-in" position and was not making contact. I forget exactly what I did to clean it up (maybe just pulled it out with a screw driver and took a scuff pad to the shaft). Can't help you with which one it was, but couldn't you just put a piece of electrical tape over the different contacts to narrow it down?
