94 6.5 td. Truck runs great when you get it warmed up and moving. But first thing in morn. or at night, It will start right up run a little and then die.
No guage loss or anything, just dies. Sometimesw will start up other times have to turn key off then back on. Will start right up and then die. If you happen to get going. it will sometimes die in gear (5 speed manual) You can push in clutch it will stay running. Sometimes it will continue on its own without pushing in clutch, other times it will roll to complete stop. but can always get it to start agian, by turning key off then back on. Glow plugs do work, but this happens at all outside temps. currently have codes, 35, 84,99. once had code 78, i think it was. Never stumbles at highway speeds. can set cruise, runs perfect. Just a fight to keep it running long enough to get going in morn or evening. relocated pmd to front bumper. new lift pump, ops, wire harness filter. Suspect could be computer, FSS, or turbo wastegate solenoid. unpluged and wired FSS directly to BATT. Still died, but wouldnt restart untill plgged back into harness. Took clear out and checked. with 12V, seemed to cycle on off fine. HELP PLEASE. more info if needed.
