I am going to replace the leaking radiator-style oil cooler on my k3500 chevy.
It looks pretty straight forward. Remove nuts connecting tubes on side of engine block, drain oil from cooler, connect new setup using pipesealer so the aluminum threads do not get bunged up and voila, new oil cooling system!

There's gotta be more to it then that. Can someone let me know otherwise?Things to watch for?

thank you

When I did mine I messed the original ones up pretty bad gettingthem out. One came out easy and the other on was a pain. I replaced them with the steel braided line set. They went in a lot easier than the factory one came out. I think undoing the engine mount and jacking the engine up on that side I could have gotten them out easier. You have the cooler in front of the radiator, right? My truck only has the cooler in front of radiator. Good luck and just take your time installing them.
