What is the cause of this and what can be done to correct it? Other then that, she does not smoke at all.
Thanks in advance,

Still waiting for some feedback on this subject please.
Thanks.
Could possibly be your glowplugs, or your glowplug relay.

I've always played under the "all bets are off during cold weather" idea. What I mean is, if it physically starts OK, and then runs well after, I wouldn't worry about it. As a precautionary measure (before it gets really cold) you may want to check your plugs - if you haven't already. There's lots of threads already on this procedure - good stuff to read.

Thank you All.
Since I am in California and it does not get cold (well, at least not like in other parts of the country, even though native Californian's would argue with me about that, .... :)) and it starts fine and runs great thereafter, I am not going to worry about it too much. But, I will be checking the glow plugs soon.
How often should the glowplugs be replaced?????
