Its close to DOA.

Another PMD is close to dead I think. It left me stranded out on the mountain while deer hunting with Dad & sons. Long story short. Ice on the PMD, started and ran about 5 minutes.
Ice again & 1/2 hour later; starts again, straight back to camp. Hock up tent trailer & head for home 1 1/2 hour drive. No stalls on way home. It seems to be the tell-tell signs of dying PMD. Questions would be is part #35976 still the latest or is it a 34583 ?? Anyone had good luck with the used ones off ebay from midwest??
Who has the best deal going these days for PMD only?? Last new one I got 3 years ago was $190.

I've been using a used one I got on ebay in 2003, since 2003 and I've not had a hiccup from it. I have another that I bought on ebay the same time, as a backup. Can't remember for certain whether they came from the midwest or not, but I think they did. I did get one out of Washington State before that, and it only lasted a few thousand miles.
