Hey guys...I have a dually and just installed a new 6.5 about a month ago or so. After installation it was drove about 400 miles round trip and the whole time the check engine light was haunting me. It was setting a code 216..injection pump control circuit malfunction but ran like a scalded dog. I reset codes and kept driving. Now it will stall or stutter @ 55-60. I can lightly tap on front of IP and it will crank right up and go 1-5 miles and stall again.
Has new lift pump, new FSD, all new glow plugs, fuel lines. Just today I have driven it over 25 miles with no problem other than the check engine light coming on.(same code) It did shut down once while I was getting ready to go but cranks right back. Will the timing cause such a problem?
