Shuts Off After Starting

Just wondering if anyone had this problem, every once in a while my truck will stall and then it takes a few seconds of turning over to start up again, Runs good most of the time. and starts without any problems. Usually does this after i run it hard and shut her down. But very intermediate.

I've had that a few times. Basically when the engine is still warm enough that it doesn't cycle the glow plugs and then I try to take off again. Seems like it is warm, but not quite warm enough... By giving it a couple extra moments to get running smoothly before driving off I can usually keep it from stalling.

My '93 did exactly that when the oil pressure switch stopped powering the lift pump.
