Thanks MorePower...I read the other thread and it's my understanding that this high copper content is most likley oil cooler related. Is my (131) high reading any indication of potential failure?

Luis,
Your other wear metals seem normal and within the range of other Duramax UOA’s posted over at BobIsTheOilGuy.com (http://theoildrop.server101.com/forums/postlist.php?Cat=0&Board=UBB26&page=0). The higher numbers may be just due to the 17kmi extended drain interval … the longer you run the oil the higher the concentration ... You might try pulling a sample at 7.5k to see how it compares .. For reference here’s a recent UOA report from my 03 ..

This is my first OCI with DELO 400 since the truck was new and it’s the best UOA to date … (click on UOA History in my signature) The truck now has old stock M1 T&SUV (5w40) for the winter .. If I didn’t live in the cold northeast I would run the DELO 400 all year round..
:)
JB...thanks for the reply...I will pull the sample after 7.5k and get a comparison. Thanks everyone:)
