Hi, can anyone tell me what it means that a engine is " heavy-duty emissions certified" ?
I`am talking about the L65 version of the 6.5TD engine.

Here in North America the L-65 HD tuning required a cat up to 1998, 1999 and up no cat required and pass emissions tests which would apply to it. ASE engine performance tech program points to manufacture changes to L-65 HD engine & programming.
