does anybody know what the A/R is on the turbine side of the GM-8 turbo?
why am I so shocked at no responses to this question.
Don't believe it was ever published for general public consumption. If it was, nobody's talkin'.
The IHI website has numerous turbos, applications, and compressor\turbine maps based on displacement, rpm, flowrate, and etc. May make it easier for an educated guess.
Just laying a casual eyball on pictures of the MHI TE06H, it appears to be same size and weight class as the GM IHI, so you might check the Banks Ford system for more info.
Or, you could disassemble one, measure the nozzle area, then the distance from the center of turbine shaft to the center of the nozzle area, then divide that area by that radius.
I tried it once, decided I'd rather watch Oprah than try to interpret the nozzle dimensions. ;)

60-1 inlet with a .58 clipped p-trim and 45mm wastegate opening will be a start.
