Howdy all...
Just bought this new PU and am looking for advise regarding the suspension. I think someone has cranked the TBs. The ride is VERY bouncy on the pot-hole roads and there are loose parts in the front end. I've had several TB vehicles and can tell by looking at this one, someone has cranked em. The previous owner gave me a replacement pitman arm and idler arm. I haven't had it checked yet, but plan to repair, reset it to factory height, and have it aligned PDQ.
My questions are;
Does anyone know what the factory ride hight should be and where it's measured from?
What 2" lift kit is recommended for the smoothest ride on the fire roads if I decide to lift it properly. I've been reading about Rancho 9000s vs. Bilsteins and welcome any opinions.
I want a nice ride on the rough roads. I'm older and perhaps wiser now so lift is not as important as comfort and practicality :)
Thanks!
