Cabin Air Filter 3500 Silverado Crewcab 2006

I am new at this, so please bear with me. Can anyone tell me the location of the cabin air filter. I thought it was under and behind the glove compartment. I can't seem to locate where to take the old one out and replace it.

I think 2003 or 4 was the last year for the cabin air filters. If you have one, it will be below the glove box, above the air duct cover. I'm pretty sure you don't have one to change. Some folks have retro-fitted them.

Thanks so much for the info. My 02 had 2 filters in it but they sold me 1 larger one. I can see a filter of some sort up high behind the glove box and just assumed it was there to stay. Can't see how to get it out. Thanks again for your reply.
