Check the 3-wire connector on your MAP sensor, black module, front center upper intake plenum, just back of the bend from the turbo - gotta remove the TURBO POWER cover

Checked connecter & also swapped out MAP and turbo wastegate solenoid. Still throwing a code 62. Lots of black smoke on acceleration and I am not hearing the turbp.

What to look for next ??

Thanks

With that added info, symptom is low or no vacuum - check the vacuum pump output - engine idling -

26"hg at pump - if good, trace the plastic vacuum tubing to the 3 solenoids and past, looking for leaks\crumbled plastic, etc

15" at wastegate on turbo

As far as I know, '95's won't set a code for low boost. I suspect a wiring problem. If you can get a scanner on it, see what the PCM reports for manifold pressure with the engine off. (Should be atmospheric pressure.) Compare the reading with the pressure sensor on the firewall.

If you probe the connector for the MAP sensor one pin should be 5 volts, one ground. The third is the sense line.
