Is it all right to launch my Duramax on 4x4 on take off and switch to 2 wheel drive when going into 3rd gear?
My tires spins too much on take off on Crazy Larry on 2 wheel drive but catch on with the other trucks that took off on 4x4 on the track. As soon as the tires stop spinning, it would catch up about 2-3 trucks lengths but mostly a lose by a truck behind at the end.
Pacific Engineering has those tie rod sleeves to keep the front tires from toeing in during launch on 4x4.
I have the floor shift 4x4 and can this launch on 4x4 be accomplished without the electronic 4x4 or can i also buy the electronic switch and have it installed/ bypassed if there is a solenoid under the floor shift 4x4 unit?
Thanks
