computer program?

Has anyone developed or perfected a computer program so I can use my laptop as an engine analiser on my 94 6.5? I have an OBDII to serrial cable no so I figure there must be an OBDI to serrial connector out ther some where..... :eek:

Autotap had one but there is none listed on thier site. Checkout eBay.

What are you going to use it for, just looking at parameters, if that is the case; another route would be a Snap On MT2500 used on ebay one with a 94-95 vintage cartridge can be found pretty reasonable there, it would give you some diagnostic functions, and if you wanted it could be updated with a cartridge to allow it to be used on later vintage vehicles also. Mine started life as a 93 set up, found a Snap-on dealer that had sombodys 99 cartridge they turned in for a 2002. Handles all US domestic auto stuff I need to do.
