Difference between Ip pumps by years

I have a 6.2 out of a running mid 80's blazer, which was a auto, putting it in a 89 K2500 pickup with a maunal transmission. The IJ pump inj the blazer runs fine and don'y want to swap pumps if i don't have to. Will it work, or were tyhe auto and manual pumps different. Thanks

Similar, not enough to worry about - check to see which is latest vintage ~maybe recently rebuilt~ you'll want the one with the least wear - just remove the plastic auto trans module from the passenger-side throttle shaft and yer good to go............
