:confused:I have been putting this off for as long as I can, but it is now time to purchase a set of new tires for the suburban that I purchased off of e-bay this spring. I want to put a set of Bridgestone Duelers Revo on and increase the size from the 245/75/16 to a 265/75/16. I have purchased the Diesel Page book and have read the article on changing the computer for the new tire size and have searched the site but I still have one question. Will the front tire clear? Is there any one out there that has done this?
I have 285's on my dually and they clear fine (No bigger though)
Good luck

265's should clear without a problem. Lots of people run them on pickups and Suburbans.

I've been running that size tire for about 4 years now on my 99 Suburban. No problems. I do get a touch of rub when backing out of the driveway, the steering turned about 1/2 way and the truck bounces in the gutter. just a report of luggs touching the fender liner. Otherwise very nice.
Using GPS measurement, the speedo is now only 1 mph off. Wonder what it was with the original factory tires?

I run them on my Burb with no issues and no modifications. You should be just fine.
