OTC Genisys/Matco Determinator Scan tool

Howdy
Does anyone have experience with either of these tools?(they are the same) What I am wondering is are they capable of reprograming the ECM on our trucks? I know that OTC/Matco list a GM reprogram option for this tool but they do not specify what you can reprogram.

You will find the software and hardware on EBay occasionally for $700 give or take a few $$'s. I have a Genisys but that option is a little pricey and hard to justify for me. All in all it is a great tool but the Tech II beats it hands down for GM capabilities.
