2007 vs 2008 Duramax?

I have an 02 2500 crew cab, long bed, 2wd Duramax and thinking of replacing it with a new 3500 crew cab, long bed, 4wd dooley. There are 07's still available. I'm told the 08's have stricter emission controls. Should I get an 2007 or 2008 and why?

Shop and find the truck and deal that you like best. Either way you can't go wrong. The stricter emissions is true, but there are ways around that. Myself, I'm waiting for the true 2008 and then my 07 (or maybe 05) gets sold or traded.
