I purchased a '98 k2500 a year ago and have been working out some issues with it. One of the main problems is an error code of P0236 that shows up occasionally. I have looked up the code and all I get is "turbo boost". Too high, too low? Its smoking more than it should and is low on power. Waste gate appears to be working, there is vacuum to the actuator. Was wondering though, if it is the solenoid and the gate is always open/closed. New to working on diesels but trying to learn.
