6.2 injection pump to 6.5

Hello. i am sure that this has been asked before but i have an electronic injection pump on my 6.5l turbo and i want to stick an injection pump off a 6.2l. i am just wandering if anyone has done this before or if it is even possible.

seems like a lot of work. what are looking to achieve; simplicity, reliability, ????? maybe you're all out of other proj.'s? seriously though, i'm just curiuos?

Yes it can be done and it has. ;)

The DB2 pump is the mechanical IP you are refering too.
I would personally not use a 6.2 pump but instead scare up a 4911 pump from a 93 6.5.
The DB2 was used on the 92-93 6.5 TD and can be set up to do just what you want to do.

The 6.2 pumps are generally to low of a HP rating and you would not be real happy with the outcome.
I would also recommend having the injectors refurbished and the pop pressure set to work well with the IP you choose.
The DS4 pumps are set to run a little higher pressure than the DB2.
