Good Day!
Has anyone had any luck rebuilding the front hubs on
That is a sealed bearing. When you buy from the dealer I think it comes as an assembly, bearing, hub, and brake rotor. I replaced one about 4 years ago, and it was about 250.00. That is if my memory is right.
The bearing races are machined directly into the hub's housing, with the three mounting ears.
So if the bearings are are shot, the whole unit is shot, as the out races obviously are not removable for replacement

Howdy
If you think about how long the hub/bearings have lasted then the price of a new hub isn't that terrible. The front end on my welding truck has about 250,000 on it and the hubs are still good. I think I've rebuilt the hubs on my 78chev 4 times in 170,000 miles. If you start shopping for used try to find them on the truck so you can verify to some extent the actual miles on them.
Hope this helps...
