Question on tech Manuals

Would buying the military version of the 6.5 tech manuals be a waste of my time and money?

Well the Hummer 6.5 heads are different angle on intake. The turbo if equipped is center mount. The IP's are all mechanical I think so therefore electronics differ a bit. And they use a 24v power system/starter not sure how it ties back to the motor electronics if any. Bottom end is the same except maybe the oil pan is heavy on Hummer. The oil lines and coolant system are different too I imagine. I think you could gleam some info from it and it should be easy to follow but I wouldn't spend a whole lot of money on it unless you really want it.

The dieselpage's books, Helm Manual, and/or alldatadiy are more suited for pickups.
