another injector question

does any one know if 6.2 injectors will work in a electronic 6.5 td

They should .... I shouldn't guess like i am , though. Ideally the nozzles should be set up properly for the right injection.

I'd suggest a quick call to one of the TDP Injection service advertisers , or call a local injection shop, they can better explain the tradeoffs involved.

The 6.2 (fine thread) injectors will fit in the 6.5 (fine thread) heads, and work if you don't run into clearance problems. The 6.2 injectors are taller than the 6.5 injectors.

That being said, the 6.5 turbo injectors have an approximate pop off pressure of around 2200 PSI where as the 6.2 injectors are around 1800 to 1850 PSI

This little difference will make a slight injection timing change (note, I said slight). ALSO the 6.2 injectors flow less (unknown how much) fuel than the 6.5 turbo injectors. Just some points of interest
