View Full Version : Need Fuel Return Hoses
I have to replace the fuel return hoses on my 93 6.5
These little buggers are expensive as hell at the dealer!
Does anybody have a source where they can be bought at a reasonable price?
These little hoses between the injectors, with the blue stripe.

Try shopping TDP Advertisers (http://www.thedieselpage.com/vendors/main.htm). Several of the vendors offer more than one option. www.kennedydiesel.com has a nice kit (everything you need for the returns) at a reasonable price. (not an endorsement, just the only vender I've dealt with on the return lines)
Just picked up an upgraded version of this hose from a local diesel injection shop. No clips required. Has a cloth braded outer rap. $5.00 per foot.
You can also get the little kits that come with the braid covered hose and also comes with some gaskets and stuff too. These can be found on ebay from a few different folks.
I have found them to be the same parts that the local diesel shops sell.
The last pack I bought was $25 for the whole set with gaskets too.
(comes with IP gasket, air top hat gasket and the hoses)
Hope this helps

Ebay to your heart's content, but our advertisers have the full injector service kits for $25 and less. The kits include the hoses, clips as necessary, gaskets and injector coppers.

Since many comments...
The braided stuff is imported from the Krauts , i think. It works without clamps , but usually fails when pulled off, requiring more new.
The OEM needs clamps , sad.
Dr Lee once posted a suggestion to buy small ID urethane line (i think from McMaster) -- this might be the ticket for re-usable , clamp-free fitments {not sure size.} My guess is the OEM line is sized inches , the braid metric.
I got a braid set from Kennedy , i think.
