i have a 6.2 block with apair of 6.5 turbo heads that come off of a van that had the center turbo mount. i want to put it in a k2500 truck and i want to make it non turbo before i buy a intake for that center turbo mount is it possible for it too work or should i find some different heads

Short answer, those heads are not intended for the application you're using this engine for.

On another forum I read about someone drilling the heads out to fix the truck style intake/system.

I really don't think this is worth the trouble. If they're good heads you should have no trouble making some kind of swap for the heads you need. IIRC, the center mount turbo heads are sought after by reman for Hummer H1 and 96+ G-van rebuilds.
