Well I changed my OPS and lift pump works like a champ. I still need to rebuild the Inj pump tho. The other day coming from the fire house I pick up vibration and make it home. I start checking and notice my water pump is about to launch into the radiator. It has a killer wobble  Now looks like water pump is up next. This is putting a kink in my summer camping plans!!!

Well look on the bright side, you could have been a couple hundred miles from home sitting with green juice running down the gutter and the propeller sticking out of the radiator

Not too bad a job to swap the pump though especially at home in the driveway with tools close at hand.

Good luck

I have a low flow water pump I took off my '96, for the Hiflow upgrade. about 43,000 on it. Heavy, but yours for just the shipping $.
Nah- you need to be back up and running sooner that this would get there.

Funny thing about the wobble is it never leaked fluid. Now thats a 1st for me. I plan on getting another one tomorrow. Any thoughts on Reman or New?

Mine never leaked before it went, either. I'd definitely go new, and get a quality brand like Delco or Airtex.

Go new if you can. Alot of remans are rebuilt with the cheapest parts in order to be the cheapest costing. I bought a water pump from Auto Zone one time for a 72' surburban and I asked for the cheapest. The guy said do you need it to last more than a week? True story, lol.

I guess this actually works. He runs a fleet of 6.5 and does alot of testing on these 6.5's. Once he can put his name on it saying it works. It must work.
food for thought.
