When shopping for an DB2 Injector Pump for a 6.2, what should a person be looking for?
Are there updated components or better pump to replace a OE IP?

Where should a person shop?
How much should a person expect to pay with no core.

Any "new" pump you get should have all the available updates.

Try THESE GUYS (http://www.thedieselpage.com/vendors/main.htm). I hear they're pretty good.....

When shopping for a rebuild pump look for these things: A new head and rotor assy instead of a used "in spec" set, Updated flexring in the gov assy, all new seals/o-rings, make sure something is done with the advance piston bore(new piston or bored oversize to clean the housing up), and if you find one with all of this they should be willing to give a good warrenty. Alot of places are selling rebuilt pumps that consist of a bunch of used parts that don't last very long so the prices seem good compared to a quality rebuild. It's generally best to have a known pump rebuilt by a diesel shop so you know the history behind it.
