fuel mileage/bio diesel

I have a 1984 6.2L 3/4TON 4x4 what should i be getting per gallon.Also would it be alright to run bio diesel in it?

I'd say about 17MPG if you don't have an OD tranny and are running freeway speeds, this is just a guess though, could be higher.

About B50 would be as high as I'd want to run with stock fuel lines etc.

thanks it has a th350 the shift is on the floor. I believe it should have a 700r4 if it was suppose to be auto. It say it came from the factor with a manual 4 speed in it.
