should the motor still run if you unplug the oil pressure switch i would think it would not but mine did. does some one know for sure :confused:
The lift pump starts pumping as soon as you turn the key, the oil pressure switch is what takes over after the engine is started.

My 92 ran fine when my OPS went bad, except for occasional stalling on start-up. The IP sucked the fuel up anyway (not good for the IP).
Hey Damien- where'd you get a 3 gauge pillar for your 92?
Stephen's exerience is the usual one; IP develops sufficient suction to pull fuel from the tank, tho not enough to keep IP full lubricated. If OPS is bad (or unplugged) you should get it fixed. Dead IP = not cheap.
