I've been looking into an additional fuel tank, diesel burbs have their reg tanks at the rear and between the chassis rails. Aftermarket aux 25 gal tank is over $700. USD so I'm thinking a gasser burbs tank is under the truck close to center between the driveshaft and chassis rail.

Any of you know if a gasser burbs tank can work in my 99 burb, or?

I kinda doubt a pickup gas tank would work in a Sub. The frame rails are shaped differently. The frame on a Sub drops down immediately ahead of the rear axle to accomodate rear passengers. The pickup's rear frame rails are parallel to the bed, forward of the axle, then drop to go under the cab.

What do you have now - a 40 gallon tank?

Think of 4-door Tahoe or Yukon fuel tanks...

Sub = rear
