HELP rebuild

I have an 83 K5 with a 6.2. i got the truck with a blown head gasket. i replaced the gaskets and put the heads back on. before i continue though i want to know what to look for and if there is anything special i should do besides priming the injectors. How do u prime the injectors? If any of you have or could take a picture that could give me an idea of the where all the wiring hooks up on the injector pump and glow plugs go. thanks

Howdy

Really simple.

With the power wire off of the IP (front 0ne) this shuts off the fuel solenoid.
Remove the glow plugs so you can spin the engine easily.
Open the air bleed on the filter and spin the engine to get clear, air free fuel flowing.
Reconnect the power to the IP and spin the engine until you get fuel mist blowing out the glow plug holes.

These engines will prime right up so its not a major hastle to do.

Reinstall the glow plugs and go for a start. May be a tad rough for a while but will smooth out shortly.

well the motor is completely together except for the brackets for the alt and cdr valve. does ne one have a picture of the setup i could go off of. im not gonna lie i cant even remember takin them off.
