Is this turbo for a gas or diesel or Could it be used on a 6.2.

On the exhaust side are the following numbers -
.49
N58
71X
H4

On the compressor side are the following numbers -
A/R
.48
M10

Going to make a guess here (educated guess).

.48 is the a/r.

A. Not enough airflow for a 6.2

B. Not enough exhaust flow for a 6.2 (turbine too small).

Good companion for a 1.6L 4cylinder, or my Brothers 2400 Nissan Pickup, hmmm..

It's likely a T04B (from the sounds of it).

Depends on the size of the turbinewheels - the dia of the 'wheel determines the max flow, the A\R determines the 'power band' to each 'wheel

Lower A\R determines quicker spoolup within each size - .49A\R on a 2" 'wheel is a lot less flow than .49A\R on a 2.5" 'wheel, and much more than on a 1.5" 'wheel

Same goes for the flowrate out of the compressor.

Need to determine the series size and which 'trim', or wheel diameter and shape - can get a general idea from the compressor inlet and turbine exducer diameter

Get the intake and exhasut diameters and you will be able to tell a lot more about the turbo.
