high speed surge

Have already had my IP changed after buying this 99 burb a month ago. Yesterday, while cruising the turnpike, I notices a surge. I mentioned it to my wife, who agreed that she felt it too. I was watching my tach and she mentioned that the "AC" button light was lighting up intermittently. I watched and a determined it was at about the same time as my surge was occuring. Thing is, the fan switch was in the off position, and I hadn't noticed the "AC" light action up to that point. I thought the fan switch had to be "on" in order for the compressor to run. :rolleyes:

Any suggestions as to where to start?

That's the way mine works.
S/W has to be on. No defferenc if S/W to AC or Dif.Don't know,sorry :confused:
