No oil pressure 6.2L
I have a 1988 Chevy. 6.2 L Diesel 160,000 miles. I started it up one mourning drove it down the street turned on to the Highway and bang red light and NO OIL PRESSURE, I shut it down and had it towed home. First I changed the oil pressure sending unit, Still no oil pressure. Then I took the sending unit out totally and started again and no oil was coming out of the sending unit hole. Then I took the oil drive gear out on the top of the motor on the back of the engine; this was the second place I chose to look for what may have happened.
