is there a way to test or know for sure that your injector is out

i was passing some one on the highway and floored the pedal and the truck stopped running just quit pulled to the side fiddled with it a minite and she started up she got me to town and she quit again towed it the next morning thought she might have been air locked when i pulled the fuel cap off and it sucked alot of air in she started up drove it around for a while changed the fuel fillter and fuel cap and on the way back she did it again

what does this sound like to yall

my rig is 95 3/4 ton 145,000 mls have never had a problem exept AC

took the truck to mechanic and i think we have rulled out the IP the truck is purring like a kitten al of a sudden we found nothing wrong with it nor were we able to get it to die again

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated thankyou

Read a couple of threads on PMD, electrical woes battery posts, and grounds. If problem comes and goes then runs like a top I'd looked there.

ok ill check that out i was just reading on stalling and am wondering if it might stem to that the only thing is that this is the first time that it has gone away im a little confused thankyou
