Anybody ever see anything, or have any information about putiing a later front clip on a '88 - '99 C-K pickup? There is a custom '95 pickup with an Escalade front end for sale on eBay (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Chevrolet-C-K-Pickup-3500-1995-chevrolet-3500-crew-cab-dually_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ90967QQitemZ2701 01301523QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW) right now. I don't know what was involved in the installation, but it got me thinking about putting the '01 - '03 Chevy 1 ton front end (hood, fenders, grille, headlights, bumper, ect, on my '96 p/u. -- Matt

I saw the ad a year or two ago for a company that sells a kit to install an GMT-800 Escalade front clip onto the 1988-98 C/K. So I wrote to them asking whether they were planning to offer the GMT-800 pickup front clips as well. As it turns out, most of the kit parts they offer are made from fiberglass. They didn't plan to offer the newer truck parts... :(
I have seen a couple of custom trucks in the various street trucks mags whose owners custom fabbed the newer front clips onto their 1988-98 C/K. It looks really good.... My guess it's a lot of work and beyond the skill level of most of us..... I still think about having the newest GMT-900 front clip on Lil Red... :)
