My glow plug wires are green...you may need to use some spray cleaner to find the male end of the glow plug.

Is that a female "spade" connector? If so, my guess would be a glow wire. I know it's tough in a van, but can you trace it back to where it starts from? Can you see that all of your glow wires are connected and that they all backtrace to the glow plug controller?

It would be nice to know what year and model you are dealing with. IIRC, at least one of the cold advance and idle solenoid wires were green on my '93

hey if you edit the picture like "crop" it reduces the size...usually jpeg is the smallest format.

could be temp sending unit for the guage, does your temp guage work?

The temp sender sits near the front corner of the driver's side head on most.
